Efento NB-IoT wireless indoor air quality loggers deliver continuous, multi-parameter environmental monitoring for spaces requiring optimal health, comfort, and building efficiency – from office buildings, public facilities, and schools to hospitals, laboratories, and smart building management systems (BMS). Powered by advanced VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) detection and Bosch’s patented IAQ algorithm, it evaluates room air quality alongside ambient temperature, relative humidity, and atmospheric pressure to provide actionable visibility into indoor pollutants and microclimate safety.
By transmitting data directly over the cellular network (Narrowband IoT), the device operates completely independently – requiring no gateways, routers, or local Wi-Fi configuration. The integrated Bluetooth Low Energy interface enables quick, intuitive setup via smartphone in under 15 minutes, while its open architecture ensures seamless integration with Efento Cloud or any third-party IoT platform.
- Indoor air quality monitoring: IAQ index from 0 to 500, classified as Good (<50), Moderate (50–100), Satisfactory (100–150), Unhealthy (150–200), Very Unhealthy (200-300) and Hazardous (>300)
- Temperature monitoring: -40°C to +85°C range with ±0.5°C accuracy (typical, at 25°C) and +/- 1°C in the range 0-65°C

Automated pressure warning systems
Pressure sensors are installed in water, oil, chemical, or compressed air pipelines for continuous pressure monitoring. In the event of a pressure issue, a PLC controller operates a pump or valve to immediately increase or decrease the pressure. However, most pressure sensors only provide control signals and lack alerting capabilities.Is it necessary to archive reports from the Efento system?
Data from temperature loggers used in the storage and transport of vaccines must be kept for at least 5 years. In the case of the Efento system, measurement data from the loggers is stored for 6 years.
